Southeast Recycling Group operates its own fleet of 25+ trucks and hundreds of containers & trailers.  We offer complete on-site equipment delivery and pickup services for your scrap metal.  We have roll off containers from 10 cubic yards to 80 cubic yards, open top trailers and closed box trailers to suit your needs.  Southeast Recycling Group will custom design a system to handle and transport your scrap in the safest, environmentally protected and most cost efficient manner possible.

Chopping uses granulators and separators to produce a 99.9% pure copper or aluminum units from insulated electrical conductive wire.  This is a highly sophisticated process that incorporates both basic metallurgical properties and the latest technology to turn a mixed metal/plastic product into a commodity suitable for remelt.  Southeast Recycling Group operates one of the most advanced wire choppers in the country at our Grover, NC facility.

Baling is the process of using hydraulic compression to increase density for lower transportation costs and more efficient melting in the recycling process.  Southeast Recycling Group operates balers for both ferrous and nonferrous metals.  The end product is a bale or bundle that can weigh from a few hundred to several thousand pounds and shipped by truck or rail for recycling.

Shearing involves cutting scrap metal to size to increase density and meet specifications for remelt at the mill or foundry.  Southeast Recycling Group operates both stationary shears from fixed locations and mobile shears that attach to a crane and move to the scrap.
